Website Hosting

Hosting provides computer space (a “hosting server”) for your website and its connection to the Internet. This is separate from creation of your website or registration of your domain name (your website’s address).  Hosting varies in price and in range from free to hundreds of dollars per month. Some websites require features not provided by all hosting services.

We can and would like to provide your hosting, as a reseller for one of the larger hosting companies in the United States. We researched extensively and chose them because of their extremely high security, excellent 24/7 support, “fat pipelines” (fast connections), extra features, and moderate price. You only have to deal with us and “the buck stops here”. We provide several levels of hosting services. 

With “basic hosting” you get:

1. We handle all tech support (8AM-6PM weekdays and almost any other time in case of emergency).

2. We will, if you wish, set up and handle changes in e-mail addresses, or you can easily do this yourself. You get almost unlimited e-mail addresses for no extra charge (There are limitations on email volume and number of connections). We can help you get your e-mail working on your computers, and in setting up mailing lists (so you can do bulk emails), auto-responders, forwarders, etc.

3. You have access to basic web statistics on visits, page views, referrers, search terms, etc.

4. We provide you with all hosting information. You can take control of your site at any time.

Our premium hosting service provides the following additional services:

Automatic monitoring of your website every 5 minutes, lets us know if your site goes down so we can take action if needed (rather than your hearing about it after it has been down for who knows how long!). Guaranteed uptime is 99.7%. Your hosting for the next month is free if we don’t meet this target.

6. Sophisticated web analytics (statistics) which enable you to track exactly where your visitors are coming from, what pages they visit or exit from, and so on (free up to 25,000 page views per month).

7. With our premium hosting service, we continue to make changes in the website, up to one half hour of work per month, at no extra charge. Nearly all changes are made within one business day. This alone is worth more than the hosting fee. More extensive changes would be done on a project or hourly fee basis, however, one half hour per month is more than enough for any ordinary updates needed.

We also offer super-premium hosting, usually the ideal choice for companies with 15-100 employees, or having critical requirements not provided by a typical “shared hosting plan.” And we can provide managed dedicated server hosting – where you have an entire server to yourself for your website or websites.
